Hello November! I know November can be very bleak, cold and depressing and I agree, but November is also my birthday month! So every year I try to make the best of it (and fail every year, but that’s a different topic).
If you want to check my October Wrap-Up here’s the LINK. I read 10 books in October, and sadly most of them were just okay, but there are two 5 star reads there as well – so check it out ❤
November reading goals:
- Read better books? My October reads were very mediocre, so I want to be more picky in November.
- Finish the Mistborn trilogy. I have 3rd book in the series left and I’ve been postponing it. Because 1. I don’t want it to end. 2. Because I’m scared of how it might end. But November is the month that I will brace myself and finish the masterpiece that is Mistborn.
- Read different genres. I feel like in 2017 I’ve read lot of hyped up and YA contemporary books – and that didn’t work out too well for me. So I want to read some different genres. I need to read more mystery, as it’s my favorite genre and more historical fiction (I already have a book lined up). Then I want to read more classical books (mostly I’m talking about Bronte sisters here) and I want to read some women fiction (something in the lines of Eleanor Oliphant is completely fine).
- Some specific books I want to read in November are: The Hero of Ages , Five little pigs, Scythe and Making Faces (I know I say I want to read it every month, but I WILL read it this month). And if I have time in November then maybe something by Bronte.
