‘Friends’ book tag

I know people that say they have watched ‘Friends’ like 10 times, but let me tell you, I LITERALLY have watched the show like 15 times. Every time I hit the last episode I just start over – the cycle never ends! So it came as a surprise to me that there was a ‘Friends’ themed book tag and that I haven’t done it yet! Igiphy-2

I saw it on Delphine’s blog, so thank you ❤

Rachel – A character whose wardrobe you want to steal… giphy-3.gif

Rachel had some great outfits! Even now I find myself being inspired by some of her looks. Book wise – this is actually a very hard question! I feel like I haven’t read any books with descriptive outfits of characters! Or I did, but none of them are interesting enough to me. But if I have to, I will go with Vin, from Mistborn by Brandon Sanderson. She got to wear some beautiful dresses when she was pretending to be a noblewoman, and her regular getup is perfect for me because it just sounds so comfortable! I love how Vin was always herself with her dressing. Plus she gets to wear mega cool cloak, so… gallery_10550_4_410358

Joey – A book that left you mind-blown… giphy-4

I remember walking in a daze for at least two days after I finished The Night Circus – it was just so magical to me. So, in a way that book totally blew my mind, with it’s beauty and magic. IMG_5603

Chandler – A book that made you laugh out loud… giphy-5

Oh, Chandler – how I love your dorky ass! Well, apparently I haven’t read any funny books because I can’t think of one!! But I remember The Titan’s Curse from Percy Jackson series being very good with its humor, so I’m going to go with that. That whole series has a lot of funny moments actually.1581365

Monica – A book that made you hungry… ss

Every time there’s something ‘Friends’ themed Monica always gets food. I mean, sure she was a chef, but Monica is so much more than food. Anyway. Heartless made me hungry – so many deserts in that book. Yum yum. Although I’d much preferred something savory. 18584855

Ross – A book that gave you all the feels… giphy-6

The more I watch the show, the more I hate Ross! No, you weren’t on a break!!! lol . Feels. From Sand and Ash by Amy Harmon gave me all the feels. So many feels. img-4631

Phoebe – A quirky & enjoyable read…giphy-7

I feel like with every season Phoebe gets weirder and more annoying. I really liked her in seasons 1 and 2, also I loved her season 1 hair! But that’s off topic 🙂 Can you think of a weirder book than Alice in Wonderland9781447279990Alice-s-Adventures-in-Wonderland

I also decided to ADD some questions, because I can always talk more about ‘Friends’.

Favorite minor character – favorite novella… tumblr_m69eijpGM01qcresxo1_250

Emily! I think this is a very unpopular opinion but I loved Emily. She and Ross made so much sense together, well until he screwed everything up. I actually feel bad for her, as the only reason Ross even wanted to make their marriage work is so he won’t get divorced second time – he never talked about his feelings for her, just that he can’t be divorced again.Sure, she got manipulative later – but wouldn’t you, if a guy you were marrying said somebody else’s name in the wedding? I think she was being too nice, if anything. As fora favorite novella – I recently got a new and absolute favorite. The Emperor’s Soul by Brandon Sanderson. 172pages of pure genius. IMG_5629

Favorite ‘Friends’ season – favorite book series…

Season 8 – when Rachel was pregnant! And season 2 because Eddie was so hilarious!!! As for favorite book series, well it’s another hard question, but I think I will have to go with Grisha Trilogy by Leigh Bardugo – I really, really loved it! And, once again unpopular opinion, I actually preferred the ending the way it was (meaning I liked who Alina ended up with, if she was with somebody else, in my opinion that would have been an abusive relationship trope, and I just don’t condone that). grisha-trilogy-covers

Favorite character – favorite book.

I love Monica (probably because I AM Monica like 99 percent of the time) and I love Chandler! But together – these two are the powerhouse. I cannot think of a better tv-couple than Mondler! So, I can’t pick just one of them, they work great separate, but they work even better together. As for the favorite book, I have a lot, but today I want to mention my new favorite Eleanor Oliphant is completely fine by Gail Honeyman. I read it this summer and it left such an impact on me. I loved it to pieces. 9780735220683

If you are ‘Friends’ fan please do this tag. It’s fun. And tag me, so I can read your answers.
